Implementation of the national agro-environmental programme in the eastern part of Mazowieckie voivodeship [Poland]

The work has been aimed at presenting results for the implementation of an agro-environmental programme in mentioned above districts of Mazowieckie Voivodeship. On the area of the analysed districts, the National Agro-environmental Programme has gained a lot of interest. Farmers most often chose the package soil and water protection - 48 percent applications. The second most frequently chosen package sustaining extensive meadows - 44 percent applications. Five percent of farmers chose the package organic agriculture. The demand for the remaining packages was small, which is connected to lower payments. In the case of the package - sustainable agriculture, little interest has been paid also because of the nesscesity to fulfill a fertilizing scheme and the fact that it can be carried out only in the priority zone.
