Zusammenfassung:In the paper presented are results of research of forage crushers and on the basis of theoretical works the conclusion is made about the necessity of creation of a forage grinder providing the crushing and the mixing of forages made in the conditionso of large horned livestock farms. The analysis of design of the grinder - ISK-3 and fodder preparation the unit APK-10 was carried out. The received results allow to draw a conclusion on necessity of creation of the multipurpose grinder-mixer of forages on the base of the ISK-3
