Zusammenfassung:Hydrogeochemical characteristics of the Quaternary multi-aquifer are provided based on investigations of the Ķemeri-Jaunķemeri deposit of sulphide-containing water. An aquifer of boggy sediments, an aquifer of Litorina Sea sediments, and an aquifer of Baltic Ice Lake glaciolimnic sediments are distinguished within the multi-aquifer. Two different types of water are identified in the aquifer of boggy sediments and four – in the aquifer of Baltic Ice Lake glaciolimnic sediments. For each type of water, pH, Eh, the chemical composition, gases, and organic compounds (total organic carbon, fulvic acids, humic acids, etc) dissolved in groundwater are assessed. The analyzed parameters 44 Zemes un vides z inātnes fluctuate significantly: pH from 4.0 to 7.5; Eh from +36 mV to +556 mV, Corg.tot from 26.4 mg/l to 89.9 mg/l, O2 – from 0.0 to 9.3 mg/l. It is determined that the environmental conditions in the aquifer of boggy sediments and the 2nd and 4th type of water of Baltic Ice Lake glaciolimnic sediments are aerobic-anaerobic, but aerobic environmental conditions are common in others. It is ascertained that the conditions in the deposit are closely linked with the waters of the Quaternary multi-aquifer that create preconditions for sulphate reduction to begin and cause the deposit to disappear. Rakstā veikts Ķemeru–Jaunķemeru kvartāra ūdens kompleksa sulfīdus saturošo pazemes ūdeņu atradnes hidroģeoķīmisko apstākļu apskats un analīze. Tas ļāva kompleksa sastāvā noteikt purva nogulumu, Litorīnas jūras nogulumu un Baltijas ledus ezera glaciolimnisko nogulumu ūdens horizontu. Purva nogulumu ūdens horizontam noteikti divu tipu ūdeņi, bet Baltijas ledus ezera glaciolimnisko nogulumu ūdens horizontam – četri tipi. Analizēts katra ūdens tipa pH, Eh, ķīmiskais sastāvs, ūdenī izšķīdušās gāzes un organiskās vielas (kopējais organiskais ogleklis, fulvoskābes, humīnskābes u. c.). Analizētie parametri svārstās plašās robežās: pH no 4,0 līdz 7,5; Eh no +36Mv līdz +556 mV; Corg.kop. no 26,4 mg/l līdz 89,9 mg/l, bet O2 no 0,0 līdz 9,3 mg/l.
