Zusammenfassung:The objective of this study was to develop a new potent antibacterial compound against bovine pneumoniae bacteria from medicinal plants or herbs. Among 65 kinds of medicinal plants and herbs, ethanol extracts of Citrus unishiu showed the highest solid yield of 54%. However, ethanal extracts from Agastache rugosa had the highest antibacterial activities against bovine pneumoniae bacteria, Mannheimia haemolytica A and Haemophilus somnus (size of clear zone: 16.0 mm and 10.0 mm, respectively).
