Zusammenfassung: | The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of habituation caused by repetitive photic stimulations. The VEPs were obtained from ten rabbits. The animals were divided into two groups (A and B) of five animals, respectively. The VEPs were elicited by regular stimulations (group A) and irregular stimulations (group B). Similar VEP waveforms were obtained from each group. In the group B, the amplitude of early components (N40) was slightly larger than that in the group A. However, there were no significant differences in both groups. The peak latency of P80 in the group B was significantly shorter than that in the group A. The other peak latencies were similar in both groups. As described above, there was little difference between the group A and B |
