Zusammenfassung: | Parasitoids of tea green leafhopper eggs laid in shoots of tea plants were found for the first time. The egg parasitoids were classified into three types based on their shape. One parasitoid belonged to the Mymaridae, and two types resembled Anagrus. These egg parasitoids were distributed on the main tea plantation in Kochi Prefecture. The maximum percentage of parasitized eggs was 82.5% in the period when the host comprised many populations. The dominant type of parasitoid was not the same in each of three regions that were researched. Occurrence of egg parasitoids was positively correlated with the size of the host population. |
