Zusammenfassung:Previously we reported the first example of peptide mimics of a small hydrophobic molecule, a phytohormone gibberellin. The second peptide mimic of gibberellin has been identified from random peptide libraries by its affinity to a type of catalyzing enzyme of gibberellins, which specifically recognizes bioactive gibberellins. These results suggest that even hydrophobic compounds can be mimicked by peptides.
