Zusammenfassung: | Many nodules were observed in the skin of the whole body of a silky fowl. The nodules varied from the size of a rice grain to that of an adzuki bean. The nodules were localized in the area of feather follicles. White opaque flecks, patches, and streaks were observed within the pectoral muscles. Kidneys were discolored and swollen. Histologically, the tumor cells resemble lymphocytes, and had clear nucleus with promonent nucleoli and basophilic conspicuous cytoplasm. The tumor cells consisted of large lymphoid cells, and those of other regions consisted of lymphoid cells of various sizes. Hyaline degeneration and myolysis with macrophage, fibroblast, and myoblasts were found in the pectoral muscles and femoral muscles. |
