Breeding of autumn to winter flowering small-flowered chrysanthemum cultivar "Nansyunotenshi" and other 12 cultivars

1) "Nanshyunotenshi" and other 12 cultivars were bred from nature crossing and crossing between autumn to winter flowering small-flowered chrysanthemums at Kagoshima Agricultural Experiment Station in 1991, 1993. They were named as "Nanshyunotenshi" and 12 names in 1994-1996. 2) The natural flowering time of new cultivars are from beginning of November to middle of January in Yamagawachou. They are classified middle of autumn flowering type, and early to middle winter flowering type. 3) These new cultivars comprise 5 pink colors, 2 red colors, 2 white colors, and 4 yellow colors. 4) These cultivars are excellent in flower-shape, flower-color, branch formation and productivity. 5) They are expected to be widely distributed in Kagoshima
