Zusammenfassung: | Ruminal fungal isolates (i.e. Orpinomyces sp.; c-14, Piromyces sp.; B-13 and Anaeromyces sp.; B-6), were incubated anaerobically at 393C for 48hr on shaking water bath in McDoughall buffer containing finely milled rice straw as the source of fermentable energy source with and without stained rumen liquid (SRL). The straw samples were analyzed after the incubation for in-vitro day matter digestibility, neutral detergent fibre, acid detergent fibre and acid detergent lignin. There was no significant effect of the fungal isolates on the degradability of the substract alongwith SRL, when compared to control. In comparison to single log dose (10(6) cfu/ml) of the isolates resulted in maximum degradability of straw. |
