Zusammenfassung:Four grazing experiments were conducted in northern Australia to study the effect of P on cattle liveweight gain where P was used as fertilizer to improve soil fertility or fed as a supplement. The 4 sites were: Katherine, N.T.; Springmount, Qld; Landsdown, Qld; and Narayen, Qld. Responses varied between sites and throughout the year, due to the variable timing and length of wet seasons, frost incidence, and other pasture related factors, which are discussed.
