Bird roosted in a large Palo Verde every night we were present (5 nights prior). Two different call types are given in this recording. The first call given in the recording would often be given if someone woke up during the night and made a sound or turned a light on. Calls also made at first light up to dawn but not heard during the day (birds would sing during the day). This call would often get several birds calling as well as nearby Northern Mockingbirds. This individual was adjacent to the individual in XC440999 and XC441000. High pass filter ran and amplified. Introduced House Gecko also in the background. Other Gray Thrashers are calling and singing in the background.; animal seen:no; playback used:no |
