Mimus polyglottos

field recording Recorded with a Wildtronics parabolic dish with a Sennheiser MKH 50 from about 10 feet as the bird was sitting on a fence. There were multiple helicopters overhead so used some noise reduction in post. Edited out a small section where the mic wire bumped the dish, but none of the vocalizations have been altered except to try and remove noise. The bird was not solicited to my knowledge. I walked by and heard it and saw it, and quietly pressed record. The bird was about 4-5 feet off of the ground on a fence. This is my second bird recording! Hope you like and that it proves to be beneficial. Would love to know what kind of bird this is.; animal seen:yes; playback used:no
