Vol. 2 is a partial translation of: Travels into the inland parts of Africa ... / by Francis Moore (first published in 1738), which includes "Journal of a person who went up the river [Gambia] in King Charles the Second's time". "Voyages ... de Lédyard" consists of extracts from his journal; "Voyages ... de Lucas" compiled from papers in the possession of the Association.
