Zusammenfassung: | In 2016 a new campaign of systematical researches took place at Carei-Bobald. Continuing former researches, the archaeological excavation unveiled the floor of a household unit composed by a house with wooden structure and three build fireplaces and adjacent archaeological complexes as well. During the excavation campaign were studied and archaeologically documented three medieval graves discovered in former archaeological campaigns. The inhumation graves from chronological point of view can be framed in the late 16th – early 17th century. It had been gathered a great quantity of splendid archaeological material containing worked antler objects, animal bones (debris of human consumption) and ceramic. The recovered archeological material can be included in the so called classic phases of the Otomani culture. Continuing former researches, another archaeological excavations were undertaken in the external satellite sites of the central tell settlement in the topographic spots called Bobald 2B and Bobald IX. The archaeological researches unveiled a series of archaeological feature: pits, daub concentrations representing the walls of a burned Late Bronze Age house, a fireplace or incineration urn graves. During the excavation campaign at Carei-Bobald 2B were studied and archaeologically documented seven features G1, G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, G7, Cx1, Cx2, Cx3 și V1 dated in Middle and Late Bronze Age, LaTene, Celtic culture, Early medieval period (V-VI century AD.) and medieval so called Arpadian period (XII-XIII century AD.) At spot Carei-Bobald IX where discovered a pit and a ditch belong to the Middle Bronze Age and four incineration graves chronologically framed in the Early Bronze Age. The present year archaeological campaign clarified issued archaeological problems raised by former geomagnetic and archaeological researches, representing a step forward in the understanding of the complex problematic of historical landscape and habitat cluster in northwestern-Romania. |
