Zusammenfassung:	According to the project entitled ”The Halmyris harbor” which envisage the investigation through asystematic archaeological excavations both of the harbor area and the interior of the fortress, on its Eastern side, in 2013 seven trenches were researched near the precinct wall. A large edifice with rounded corners was revealed. The interior of the building appears divided by a perpendicular wall West- East oriented, bonded against the precinct wall. A large flagstones pavement indicating the existence of a large market place surrounds the edifice.
