Raport arheologic: Tăcuta/comuna: Tăcuta/județul: Vaslui/punct: Dealul Miclea (Paic) (2011)

The evaluation and diagnostic archaeological investigation aimed at obtaining information on the site stratigraphy, cultural and chronological framing and spatial distribution of archaeological complexes and materials, and on the state of heritage preservation, envisaging a systematic research project. Non-intrusive methods (surface survey, study of cartographic materials, surveying and magnetometric scanning) and intrusive (archaeological excavation - sections and sondages, roughly 50 m2) have been employed. In S. I/2011 and adjacent sondages of S. II and S. III/2011 we discovered Cucuteni A3 archaeological complexes and materials: a surface dwelling (D. 1/2011), a complementary household complex and a pit (P. 1/2011) with a rich inventory of finds. Bronze Age pottery was also found: Monteoru and Costișa disseminated among Eneolithic complexes, along with four graves (three of inhumation-G. 1,3-4/2011 and one of cremation/G. 2/2011), dated at the beginning of Noua culture (Balintesti-Cioinagi type).
