Zusammenfassung:	The rescue excavations were determined by the construction of the Arad – Timișoara highway. The inter-river terrace on which lies the archaeological site extends between Carani Stream and Valea Viilor Stream, at a distance of about 2 km to the WNW from the village of Murani. Overall we investigated 21 features, some of which belong to the Daco-Roman period, and others are Sarmatian inhumation graves and a cremation one from the early Middle Ages. The Roman period features represent an edge of the Daco-Roman settlement, where there are a sheepfold and temporary houses.
