Zusammenfassung:The rescue archaeological excavations made along de route of the future A3 motorway Bucharest – Brașov in 2009 – 2010 located nearby Crețuleasca village, led to the discovery of a necropolis from the 16th – 17th c., as well as to a series of vestiges belonging to habitation structures dating to Prehistory (Bronze Age, Hallstatt), Latène Period, Middle Ages (9th – 11th c., Dridu type pottery) and 17th – 18th c. There were investigated a number of 271 inhumation graves and 267 archaeological complexes with different functionalities (semi-sunken construction with kilns built in one of the pit’s walls or in a block of clay cut into a pit’s corner, kilns with access pit, pits, hearths etc.). One can say that the entire area to be impacted by the construction of the future motorway was investigated throughout an open-area excavation system from km 7 + 900 to km 8 + 250. Due to a failure in financing the investigation on behalf of the beneficiary, there remained unexcavated about 30 archaeological complexes, located between km 7 + 900 to km 8 + 050, which are to be investigated during a future campaign.
