Zusammenfassung:	The settlement of Tărtăria - Gura Luncii is located next to Tărtăria station on a small promontory 300-350 m long and 150 m wide, on the first non-floodable terrace of Mureș river. The site was discovered by Endre Orosz in 1906. The site belongs to Săliștea commune, known as Cioara until 1965. The campaign in 2010 was intended to identify the track of the excavation in 1989 conducted by Professor Iuliu Paul in the north area of the site and their correlation with the earlier excavations of K. Horedt (1942, 1943) and N. Vlassa (1961).
