Raport arheologic: Limba/comuna: Ciugud/județul: Alba/punct: Vărăria - Bordane (2010)

This year’s campaign was more restricted, as we stuck to conducting a sloping (T3/2010 = 5 x 0.30 m) in the north end of the Vărăria sector, with a view to clearing out a stratigraphic sequences in this area, as well as to opening up an area (SXVI/2010 = 10 x 5 m) in the Bordane sector, with a view to finding out the occupation levels in this central area of the archaeological site feature, confirmed the stratigraphic sequences previously known (Starčevo-Criș, Vinča A, Vinča B1, Gava), making it possible to get further into some aspects relating to distinct early Neolithic occupation levels, and to clearly find out the upper Hallstatt layer, strongly disturbed by agricultural works, respectively, as well as to delimit the early and developed Neolithic occupation levels.
