Zusammenfassung:	The 2009’s research campaign revealed the fact that mound M1 is actually not connected to any contemporary structures and it is, in fact, a ritual structure belonging to Coțofeni culture (phase III - Late Eneolihic). It is quite probable that this feature has a funeral character (and being a tumulus with soil mantle). In the soil mantle of M1 we discovered flint artifacts belonging to Middle Palaeolithic from the typological point of view and were probably connected to a settlement from this time.
