Raport arheologic: Măgura/comuna: Măgura/județul: Teleorman/punct: Buduiasca - Boldul lui Moș Ivănuș, TELEOR 003 (2008)

The 2008 campaign objectives were: investigating the Neolithic habitation specific to the South-Eastern side of the settlement, as well as going on with the interdisciplinary studies. The excavations were in the same area as in last two campaigns (“Boldul lui Moș Ivănuș”). We excavated 8 complexes, 7 belonging to Early Neolithic and a single one to the Late Neolithic. A hearth, a kiln and 2 pits discovered belong to Late Middle Ages. A large amount of archaeological material comes from the excavated complexes: ceramic fragments, flint, obsidian and bone tools, animal bones, shells etc. The complexes had been more probably used for garbage area deposition. All the archaeological materials are stored at the Teleorman County Museum. For the 2009 campaign will have as task the enlargement of the previous excavated area.
