Zusammenfassung:	The archaeological excavations conducted in August – September 2006 aimed to recover material, as well as “historical” data from the area of the fortress plateau. The research had two phases. The first one was focused upon removing the three spoilheaps of the excavation of the mentioned area and collecting the archaeological material. The second one consisted of a proper archaeological excavation, as a section was drawn. The recovered archaeological material consists of Dacian pottery modeled by hand or wheel, sherds from imported vessels, a fragment from a bronze bracelet and a denarius of Augustus dated to the 1st century B.C. Inside the fortification no deposit was found.
