Zusammenfassung: | In this location there is a Bronze Age settlement from the Tei culture period. The excavations revealed Dacian period occupation traces to the east and west. We drew three perpendicular sections along Colentina river. Following the excavations and stratigraphical observations, we found humus recently brought probably from the Mogoșoaia commune area that did not include occupation evidence. The undisturbed soil follows: humus, feudal period traces level, a layer with Bronze Age, Tei culture layer, a level indicating a lake bottom with specific vegetation. The levels belonging to the mediaeval occupation, and the Dacian period, respectively, are rather thin. They contain rare sherds, animal bones and a few iron artifacts, typologically unidentified. The mediaeval period ones can be dating to the 16th – 18th centuries typologically, and the Dacian period ones probably to the 3rd – 1st centuries BC. More numerous are the materials from the Bronze Age, Tei culture. Next year the campaign will extend to the north side, with earlier observations. |
