Zusammenfassung:The following report details the results of excavations carried out at Shanballyduff, Co. Tipperary (Site 169a1 and Site 169a2) as part of the N8 Cashel to Mitchelstown Road Improvement Scheme. The site produced a radiocarbon date of 1753-1532 Cal BC and consisted of a series of pits around a hearth area and appeared to be related to burnt mound activity. Later activity on the site consisted of linear ditches which were related to possibly 19th Century agricultural activity.
