Zusammenfassung:The site at Philpotstown 3 was excavated by Archaeological Consultancy Services Ltd (ACS) as part of the M3 Clonee–North of Kells Motorway Scheme on behalf of Meath County Council, NRDO and the NRA. A small schoolhouse constructed in the mid-19th century and demolished in the 20th century was excavated in April 2007. The foundations and floor surface of the building survived in reasonable condition, and the floor plan of the building was recorded.
