A separate group were heterodox objects frequently located outside the walls. From the beginning of the 19th century communal cemeteries were established for Podgórze and Cracow. Currently there are 12 communal, 18 parochial, 5 denominational and 7 military necropolises located within the administrative boundaries of the city.
