Zusammenfassung: | This paper is an extension of an earlier JARBI article, "Integrating University and College Career Services Programs into the Business Communication Curriculum" (Hemby & Crews, 2005). The original article provided business communication instructors with ideas for integrating career services' programs into the business communication curriculum, including the career services supplement, the class visit, the mock interview, the business etiquette dinner, and the career center research project. The goal of this follow-up paper is two-fold. First, assessment tools are provided for use with the activities discussed in both articles. Second, additional activities are provided for business communication instructors to utilize in accomplishing the integration of career services programs and business communication curriculum. This list of activities is not meant to be exhaustive but to provide examples of activities to give students an opportunity for experiential learning. (Contains 6 figures.) |
