Zusammenfassung: | This article analyzes the comparative impact of three educational interventions aimed at increasing students' political engagement, two at the undergraduate level and one at the high school level. Findings from interviews with student participants in these programs indicate that political competencies are best acquired through democratic practice, particularly programs and courses that encourage student voice. This study also demonstrates the need to widen our understanding of politics beyond electoral competition if we want to engage young people politically. |
