Zusammenfassung:	The author explains the strategies developed to blend content and pedagogy in teacher preparation programs. The author notes two independent measures which were used to evaluate the effectiveness of curriculum changes: Scores on NTE examinations, and scores given to first-year teachers on principal evaluations. Both improved significantly after the changes were implemented.
