Zusammenfassung:The purpose of this study was to ascertain the level and extent of support services available to developmental students at two-year institutions in the southeast region of the United States. Questionnaires were mailed to 225 two-year institutions located in the southeast region of the United States. A total of 101 surveys were returned, for an effective response rate of 44.9 percent. The survey addressed the institutions' organizational approaches used, types of support services offered, and support personnel utilized for developmental education programs and/or services. Support services for developmental learners were evident in over 91.0 percent of the institutions surveyed.
