Broadening language graduates' horizons through employer engagement (Dawn Leggott); and (5) "Languages in the workplace": embedding employability in the foreign language undergraduate curriculum (Alison Organ). Section 2: Developing students' intercultural competence: (6) Building global graduates and developing transnational professional skills through a telecollaboration project in foreign language education (Mª Victoria Guadamillas Gómez); (7) Content modules in UK and US universities--their unique contribution towards the development of intercultural competence and criticality (Elinor Parks); and (8) Developing intercultural communicative competence for the year abroad experience (Sandra López-Rocha and Fabienne Vailes). Section 3: Fostering employability in the classroom: (9) Rotating poster presentations (Manuel Lagares and Sandra Reisenleutner); (10) Enhancing students' potential: EBL projects in language teaching (Theresa Federici); (11) Using assessment to showcase employability in IWLP (Caroline Campbell); and (12) Enhancing employability skills by bringing literature back into the foreign language class: the Litinclass website (Ana Bela |
