Zusammenfassung:After DePaul University initiated program review, a new strategic plan, learning goals, and outcomes assessment, the decision was made to extend the data provided to manage departments and colleges. Rather than initiating yet another new project, meeting the need for more information was accomplished by creating a program portfolio. This paper describes the portfolio and its use. The portfolio was a means for integrating many of the previous strategic initiatives. The program portfolio model is presented, steps in its development are traced, and implications for institutional research are discussed. The paper also identifies lessons learned and identifies the next steps in the program portfolio process. (Contains 15 references.) (Author/SLD)
