Zusammenfassung:This document consists of the four 2000 issues of a newsletter disseminating information on the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD) and providing a forum for important news, research, and information concerning advancements in child growth and development research. Each issue of the newsletter provides announcements and notices of conferences, workshops, position openings, fellowships, and member obituaries. The first 2000 issue includes the following articles: (1) "Focus on: The Merrill-Palmer Institute"; (2) "Report from the Committee on Child Development, Public Policy, and Public Information"; (3) "Issues of Interest from the Internet"; (4) "Notes from the Executive Office"; and (5) "Report from Washington." The second 2000 issue of the newsletter includes the following articles: (1) "The Hidden Disabled among Us"; (2) "Behavioral Science at the National Institute of Mental Health. Report from Washington"; and (3) "Committee Reports." The third 2000 issue includes the following articles: (1) "Focus on the Foundation for Child Development: Q and A with the Director"; and (2) "The National Science Foundation's Child Learning and Development Program. The Report from Washington." The fourth 2000 issue includes the following articles: (1) "Focus on SRCD Office for Policy and Communications"; (2) "Committee Reports"; (3) "'What Goes Around Comes Around': Volunteering for Professional and Personal Development"; and (4) "2001 Biennial Meeting."
