Zusammenfassung:A general history of the Grade 5 Educational Assessment Package of Pennsylvania is given followed by the guidelines for analysis of the data. The statistical procedures used are described, as are the sample and the sample selection process. Correlations between grade 5 and grade 7 scores are given and show the greatest stability in cognitive areas. A decline in pupil's interest in school between grades 5 and 7 is indicated. The pattern of across-time correlations for male and female groups is similar to each other and to the entire group. (RS)
