Zusammenfassung:The development of more than 325 short radio talks, designed to inform the general public, on the relevance and contemporaneity of classical civilization to our times, is discussed in this address. Materials are derived from a wide range of sources and include such writers as Cicero, Plautus, Horace, Ovid, Quintillian, Aeschylus, and Plutarch. Comment is made on how these materials can be used to improve student attitudes toward the study of Latin. (RL)
