Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A fountain water clock comprises a central standpipe 6 supplied with water from a pond, having two separately rotatable hub members 4, 5 mounted thereon, being driven by a clock mechanism such that the first hub member makes one revolution in one hour and the second hub member makes one revolution in twelve or twenty-four hours. Fountain jets 7, 8 emit from pointer members extending from the hubs, preferably embodied as ornamental sculptures, such that a first longer pointer/fountain jet 7 defines a minute hand and a second shorter pointer/fountain jet 8 defines an hour hand. The clock is powered by hydrostatic or hydrodynamic pressure acting on rotor means with a stepping motor escapement.
