A CONTROL VALVE

A control valve arrangement having a casing (12) with an inner bore (14) is provided, inside which there is a valve seat (16), which bore cooperates with the circumferential edge of the base surface (34) of a first valve member (30) which can be moved in both directions in the bore (12) by pressure. The bore (14) is connected to a pressure medium inlet (18) and a pressure medium outlet (20). The valve member (30) has a bore (38) which connects the outer end face (32) and the base surface (34), and a bore (40) which connects the outer end face (32) to a point (46) on the circumferential surface of the first valve member (30), which point (46) is in permanent flow connection with the outlet (20). Provided in the bore (14) of the casing (12) is a second valve member (48) of the outer end face (32) of the first valve member (30) in alignment with the bore (40) permanently connected to the outlet (20). The second valve member (48) can be moved with the aid of an outer actuating device (50, 52) from a position which closes this bore (40) of the first valve member (30) into a position raised therefrom, in order to form a variable flow connection to the outlet (20). The flow through this restrictor point (22), which is controlled by the second valve member (48), is directly proportional to the movement of the first valve member (30).
