BUSINESS FORMS

This invention is concerned with a business form for use with character recognition apparatus. The form has at least one form length which is to receive handwriting which is recognised by the character recognition apparatus and has location means in the form length to enable the form to be fed into the apparatus and located at a predetermined location in the apparatus and has co-ordinate graduation printing areas to define location and to receive respective predetermined items of data made up of handwritten characters, the position of the graduation printing areas representing different kinds of data and having a predetermined co-ordinate relationship with reference to the location means to ensure that the printing areas are located in required relationship with reference to co-ordinate recognising apparatus in the handwriting recognition apparatus whereby when handwriting is applied to a graduation printing area on a form length it may be recognised and by virtue of the position of the area of the handwriting data may be processed.
