In (I) n is 0, 1, 2 or 3; R1 is H, halogen, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, 1-4C alkylthio, CF CF3, NO2, CN, phenoxy, halophenoxy, phenylthio and/or halophenylthio; and R2 is 1-6C alkyl or alkoxyalkyl. (I) have pesticidal properties and are partic. useful as insecticides and acaricides, esp. ectoparasiticides (e.g. against parasitic ticks). Effect of (I) is manifested as a strong inhibition of fertility and as 'detaching' effect particularly useful in host animals (e.g. cattle already infested by ticks.
