NEMATOCIDAL AGENTS

Nematocidal compsns. contain at least one bromoethyl alkanesulphonate (I) R-SO2-O-CH2-CH2-Br (I) (where R is 1-5C alkyl). Cpds. (I) may be prepd. by reacting R.SO2Cl with HOCH2CH2Br. Cpds. are applied as compsns. contg. 0.0001-10% (I) pref. 0.01-1% (I) at rates of 1-100kg/ha.
