1338153 Ventilators PHILIPS ELECTRONIC & ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 6 July 1971 [9 July l970 31670/71 Heading F4V A distributer for air supplied to a space comprises a cylindrical air supply pipe 1 flared at its end to form a flange 2 and having an integral flange 3 forming an inner ring with air exit apertures 5; a cone 6 situated within the supply pipe 1, which cone includes on the air intake side thereof axial radial walls 7 forming sectorshaped chambers 8 which open axially inwards and radially outwards. The cone 6 may be rotated about its longitudinal axis automatically in response to a temperature sensitive element e.g. a bimetal strip, and means may be provided on the inner ring 3 to lock the cone 6 in several positions. The air supply can be controlled by a throttle valve which consists of two coaxial, relatively rotatable discs 11, 13 which each have sector-shaped recesses 12, 14.
