METHOD FOR PREPARING PROTEIN-BASED SURFACTANTS FROM LEATHER SCRAPS

The invention discloses a method for preparing protein-based surfactants from leather scraps, which comprises the following steps: hydrolyzing leather scraps by using a hydrolysis method, so that the leather scraps are hydrolyzed from macromolecular protein to a compound polypeptide hydrolysate; the hydrolysate is concentrated by vacuum distillation, which is used as the raw material for preparing protein-based surfactants. Under the action of self-made phase transfer catalyst-compound polypeptide quaternary ammonium salt surfactant, N-laurel, nutmeg, palm and oleoyl compound polypeptide surfactants are prepared by classical Schotten-Baumann condensation reaction with lauroyl chloride, myristyl chloride, palmitoyl chloride and oleoyl chloride with different carbon chain lengths. The problem of environmental pollution caused by tannery wastes is solved, and protein resources are reasonably recovered, and the products obtained have good application prospects.
