Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a process for the treatment of the aqueous stream coming from the Fischer-Tropsch reaction which comprises: -feeding of the aqueous stream containing organic by-products of the reaction to a distillation or stripping column; -collection from the column of a distillate enriched in alcohols having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms and other possible volatile compounds; feeding of the aqueous stream containing the acids leaving the bottom of the distillation column to an electrodialysis cell and the production of two outgoing streams: -an aqueous stream (i) enriched in organic acids having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms; -a purified aqueous stream (ii) with a low acid content.
