Zusammenfassung:	A cylindrical spigot formed coaxially on end of the base plant is used as the male part while the female part is a blind hole drilled coaxially with the spigot in one end of the graft. The spigot has a diameter less than that of the base plant so that a flat, angular edge is formed at the transition of the spigot into the base plant. This edge is brought into surface contact with a corresponding edge around the blind hole in the graft.
