Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A method of and a device for stopping the movement of a weft-carrier or shuttle when an obstruction is in the shed of a loom without damaging the loom or fabric being woven. The device includes a power operated shuttle drive mechanism adapted to engage the shuttle to move the shuttle through a shed, and a sensitive section adapted to be responsive to forces produced by an obstruction in the shed. When such forces exceed a predetermined value, the sensitive section actuates a transducer to stop the supply of power to shuttle drive mechanism and reduces to zero the forces being applied to the shuttle by its drive mechanism.
