Zusammenfassung: | In a turbine rotor, disk blade root slots around the periphery thereof cooperate with the blade roots 40 disposed therein to define a pair of cooling air passageways 55,208 across each slot. These passageways across each slot are in a series flow relationship with each other. Cooling air from upstream of the rotor is fed into one passageway 55 of each slot and flows rearwardly therethrough across the slot. The same mass of air is then directed into the inlet of the other passageway, which air flows forwardly through the slot to provide additional cooling to the blade roots and disk lugs 47. (See also Fig. 6). |
