The invention relates to both the new method and the use of 2-ß-D-ribofuranosylthiazole-4 carboxiamide and derivatives thereof, primarily 5'-O-esters, for production of pharmaceutical products for healing and prevention of systemic autoimmune disorders, primarily multiplex sclerosis.
