Zusammenfassung:	It has been found that substances which cause acidification of the early endosome of dendritic cells cause the cells to present a broader range of epitopes than would otherwise be the case. Accordingly, the invention provides the use of such substances in the treatment of established chronic infections and cancers, as well as vaccines for the treatment of established chronic infections and cancers utilising such substances and/or dendritic cells and/or antigens specific to such established chronic infections and cancers. Il a été démontré que des substances provoquant une acidification de l'endosome précoce de cellules dendritiques font que ces cellules sont porteuses de davantage d'épitopes qu'elles n'en auraient en l'absence desdites substances. Cette invention porte donc sur l'utilisation de ces substances dans le cadre du traitement d'infection chroniques établies et de cancers. Elle a également trait à des vaccins, destinés au traitement de ces infections chroniques établies ou de cancers, faisant appel à ces substances et/ou aux cellules dendritiques susmentionnées et/ou à des antigènes spécifiques de ces infections chroniques établies et cancers.
